Regional police reported that an officer was nearly hit by a vehicle during an incident that occurred last night. Shortly after the incident, police mistakenly apprehended four individuals near Joseph Howe Drive, believing them to be connected to the erratic driving event. However, upon further investigation, law enforcement determined that these individuals were not involved in the incident, leading to their release.
