LANSDOWNE STATION, N.S. - Officials have announced the continuation of a renewed search, both on the ground and via air, for two missing children from Nova Scotia. Six-year-old Lilly Sullivan and her four-year-old brother, Jack Sullivan, were reported missing from their residence in Lansdowne Station, located approximately 140 kilometers northeast of Halifax, on May 2, 2025.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) indicated that search-and-rescue teams focused their efforts on specific areas surrounding the road where the children's home is situated on Saturday. This marks a significant effort following the initial search that commenced on the same day the children were reported missing.
However, the RCMP had to scale back the original search on May 7 due to assessments indicating a minimal chance of survival for the siblings after several days in the densely wooded environment.
