This year’s Pink Awards aims to acknowledge and amplify the voices of LGBTQ Canadians who have made a difference in their communities. Each honoree will be awarded a cash sum to donate to a community organization or individual of their choice, symbolizing their commitment to giving back and supporting ongoing advocacy efforts within the LGBTQ community.
The event will be hosted by actress Emily Hampshire, known for her role in the beloved series "Schitt’s Creek," alongside Hollywood Jade, the choreographer from "Canada’s Drag Race." Their involvement as hosts highlights the importance of representation and visibility in the entertainment industry, especially for LGBTQ individuals.
