MONTREAL – In a significant operation targeting the online sexual exploitation of children, Quebec provincial police have apprehended 22 men ranging in age from 18 to 70. This large-scale investigation underscores the ongoing efforts to tackle child sexual abuse in the digital landscape.

The police reported that 20 of the suspects have already appeared in court, facing a range of serious charges that include possessing, distributing, and accessing materials related to child sexual abuse and exploitation. The operation involved an extensive mobilization of resources, with approximately 150 police officers participating in a series of coordinated raids carried out between November 3 and November 7, 2025.
