One person is dead following a single vehicle crash on Hwy 215 in Rines Creek

On November 21, a tragic single-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 215 in Rines Creek, resulting in the death of one individual. The East Hants Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) received a call regarding the incident shortly after 4 p.m. and promptly dispatched officers, along with fire services and Emergency Health Services (EHS), to the scene.

Upon arrival, responding officers discovered a Nissan Pathfinder that had veered off the roadway and ended up in a ditch. The vehicle's driver, identified as a 44-year-old man from Shubenacadie, was the sole occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
