Teens Arrested in Bedford Store Robbery Drama

Two teens are facing a slew of charges after a Canadian Tire in Bedford was robbed with what employees believed was a gun

Two teenagers are facing multiple charges following a robbery at a Canadian Tire store located in Bedford, Nova Scotia. The incident took place around 5:00 p.m. at the business situated at 150 Damascus Rd. Employees reported that the suspects, who were wearing masks, entered the store and threatened staff with what appeared to be a firearm.

During the robbery, the two individuals broke open a display case that contained pellet guns. Fortunately, no one was injured during the event. After committing the robbery, the suspects fled the scene and ordered a ride share. Law enforcement officers were able to locate the vehicle and arrested both the driver and the two teens who were seated in the back.

Police subsequently determined that the ride share driver was not involved in the criminal activity and they were released. Upon arresting the two suspects, officers discovered stolen items along with a pellet gun that is believed to have been used during the robbery.
