Bieberchella is here, and Justin Bieber is making a significant concert comeback as he headlines the Coachella music festival this Saturday. This performance is particularly noteworthy as it will be Bieber's most extensive live show since he canceled his 2022 tour due to health complications related to his Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis.
Last year, during a series of Twitch streams, Bieber promised his fans an extraordinary show, stating he would be "putting on a hell of a show." The annual festival, taking place in California's Coachella Valley, will also feature fellow headliners like Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G across two weekends.
Bieber's return to the stage comes after a challenging period in his career. In 2022, the "Peaches" singer revealed on Instagram that Ramsay Hunt syndrome had left half of his face temporarily paralyzed. While he did manage to resume his tour later that summer, it ultimately took a toll on him, leading to more concert cancellations.
His upcoming Coachella performance will be his first full set at the festival, despite having previously made guest appearances alongside artists such as Ariana Grande and Tems. The only other Canadian performer at Coachella this year is the Juno-winning producer Rezz, known for her distinctive dark and grungy EDM tracks.
For those unable to attend the festival in person, a livestream of Coachella will be available on the festival's official YouTube channel. Bieber's set is scheduled to begin at 11:25 PM PST, which translates to 2:25 AM EST, so fans may need to stay up late to catch his performance.
During his Twitch streams, Bieber indicated that his Coachella set would be a mix of songs from his recent albums, "Swag" and "Swag II." He expressed excitement about performing the new songs for the first time, stating, "I’m probably going to do both projects and merge some of the old songs where I can."
Bieber also performed an intimate concert at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles on March 29, 2026, his first full concert in nearly four years, coinciding with the night of the Juno Awards, where he was nominated for six awards. The year 2025 marked a significant musical comeback for Bieber, but it was not without personal challenges.
In June, he addressed some of his struggles through an Instagram post, reflecting on his ongoing journey to heal. He wrote, "People keep telling me to heal. Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?" highlighting his feelings of being broken and dealing with anger issues. This candid remark came after a video surfaced of Bieber in an altercation with paparazzi, which drew attention to his struggles with fame and public scrutiny.
In the video from outside SoHo House in Malibu, Bieber expressed frustration at photographers who were provoking him, asserting, "I’m a real man with a real family." This incident led him to repurpose audio from the confrontation for "Standing on Business," a skit featured on "Swag" that includes comedian Druski.
As Bieber takes the stage at Coachella, fans eagerly anticipate a show that not only showcases his musical talent but also reflects the personal challenges and triumphs he has faced recently. With his unique blend of new and classic songs, along with the emotional depth behind his lyrics, Bieber is poised to deliver a memorable performance at one of music's biggest festivals.
