ST. JOHN'S — In a critical response to an escalating wildfire, officials have issued an evacuation order for residents of Musgrave Harbour, located along Newfoundland's northeast coast. The wildfire, which has become increasingly uncontrollable, is now situated just two kilometres away from the town.

The evacuation alert was announced by the provincial Justice Department, highlighting "extreme wildfire behaviour" that poses significant threats to the safety of the approximately 950 residents in Musgrave Harbour.
