MISSISSAUGA – The funeral service for Ontario Provincial Police Constable Tarun Bali, who tragically lost his life last week, has been officially scheduled. Constable Bali, at the age of 29, was fatally struck by a vehicle in the northern Ontario town of Hearst, located approximately 520 kilometers east of Thunder Bay, while police officers were conducting an investigation.
According to a news release issued by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the memorial service for Constable Bali will be held on Thursday morning at the Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre. The event is designated as a private ceremony, meaning it will not be open to the general public. However, it is expected to be attended by Bali’s family, along with fellow police officers, military personnel, and various dignitaries who wish to pay their respects.
For those unable to attend the service in person, the OPP has announced that there will be a designated location for members of the public to view the procession.
