Regional police in Halifax are currently investigating a stabbing incident that occurred early on a Friday morning. At approximately 4:50 a.m., officers responded to a report regarding an injured individual lying on the street in the 5600 block of Cunard Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a 30-year-old man who had sustained multiple stab wounds.
According to the Halifax Regional Police (HRP), the officers provided initial first aid to the man at the scene. Following their intervention, he was subsequently transported to the hospital by Emergency Health Services (EHS). His injuries are reported to be serious; however, they are not considered life-threatening at this stage.
The police investigation is in its early stages, and authorities are urging anyone who may have information related to the incident or any video footage taken in the area to come forward. This appeal is part of the ongoing efforts to gather evidence and identify any suspects involved in the stabbing.
