As the first official weekend of summer embarks upon the Halifax region, the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) is urging residents to refrain from driving under the influence. In an effort to promote safety during these festive events, the NSLC has announced a partnership with Halifax Transit to provide free rides on all transit services. This initiative will be available on Friday, starting from 6 p.m. and continuing until the end of service for the night.
